Behind the Puzzle Pieces

A mini-documentary about the special creation process behind Las Piezas (The Pieces): the collaborative piece between konverjdans and Colorado-based artists MinTze Wu (a composer and violinist), Bianca Godina (a poet), Katie Browne (a costume designer), and Katherine Bolaños (a dancer), while the company was in residency with Dance Initiative in Carbondale, Colorado. The film is an in-depth look into seven female artists' process of "converging" with one another; how they thread together the seemingly disparate pieces of their music, movement and poetry to create something meaningful together, even across oceans.
